Not an official source of aeronautical information

waterdrome.com (the "Service") is an informational and commercial directory operated by Retiretainment, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). The Service is not an official, authoritative, or approved source of aeronautical, navigational, weather, regulatory, or safety information. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration, Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, the National Weather Service, any other government agency, or the Seaplane Pilots Association.

Do not rely on the Service for flight decisions

You must not use the Service as a basis for flight planning, navigation, takeoff or landing decisions, fuel planning, or any operational or in-flight decision. Always consult official, current sources, including aeronautical charts, the Chart Supplement, NOTAMs, official weather briefings, applicable regulations, and the appropriate government authorities, and exercise your own judgment and authority as pilot in command.

Information may be wrong, incomplete, or outdated

Content on the Service, including base locations, identifiers, fuel availability and prices, daylight times, weather, webcam links, seasonal access, approach and departure notes, conditions reports, invasive species and border-crossing guidance, and provider listings, may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Much of it is contributed by users or drawn from third parties and is not verified by us. Weather and webcam data come from third parties and may be delayed or unavailable.

User-contributed observations

Reports submitted by users, including water conditions, fuel prices, seasonal access, and approach and departure notes, are personal observations, not official guidance or procedures. They may be inaccurate, stale, or mistaken. We do not endorse, adopt, or guarantee any user contribution. You rely on them entirely at your own risk.

Regulatory and legal guidance is general only

Our guides on invasive species decontamination, permits, and cross-border customs are general information, not legal or regulatory advice, and change frequently. Confirm current requirements directly with the relevant state, provincial, and federal agencies before you act.

Aviation involves inherent risk

Seaplane and floatplane operations are inherently dangerous and can result in property damage, serious injury, or death. By using the Service you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with aviation and with any reliance on the Service.

Assumption of risk and limitation

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimers, limitation of liability, and assumption of risk that govern your use.
