What to expect

A floatplane departs Lake Hood early morning and flies to a remote river or coastal area where brown bears feed on salmon. A naturalist guide accompanies the group on the ground. The round trip takes most of the day. Waterproof boots and rain gear are typically provided or required. Group sizes are small, usually 4–6 passengers.
